Her previous education, work, and continued life experience offer a well-rounded professional approach to helping you. Educationally, Kimberly obtained her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology in 2017 after completing her practicum through the Intensive Transitional Treatment Program that serviced individuals struggling to stabilize their mental health symptoms.
Professionally, she has been registered with qualifying status through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since graduating. Kimberly has worked with individuals and family members over the past 5 years to increase their quality of life by meeting their psychological needs.
Kimberly works from a holistic, client-centred perspective. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, SFT, and mindfulness, to assist with developing self-awareness, guide learning to express thoughts and feelings appropriately, solve problems, understand and change behaviours, and gain emotional understanding.
